Larry Campana of our outreach team has received the following request from our contact at Golden Hill UMC:

I hope this email finds you and your families safe and well.

I want to start by thanking you again for the generosity of the members of Fairfield Grace last year and for so many years to the Christmas basket program at Golden Hill.

The Christmas basket program at Golden Hill is going forward again, but it does look a bit different again this year due to the pandemic.  This year we are looking to distribute a combination of gifts for children ages 0-11 and gift cards for children ages 12-18 (2-$10 Target gift cards per child), and then mostly gift cards for the food portion of the program.

We are looking for $10 gift certificates to any of the following stores:  Price Rite, Stop and Shop, Shop Rite Target and Walmart. We are also collecting only 7 specific food items this year:  tuna, rice, cereal, peanut butter, stuffing, dry gravy packets and instant mashed potatoes.  We are also looking for actual toys for children ages 0-11.

We are looking to have the donations at Golden Hill by Wednesday, December 7.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Blessings,

Becki Anderson
