Ski Trip and Winter Retreat

Leave Fairfield from Fairfield Grace at 6:00 PM
*We invite all parents, family, and friends to join us for a prayer send off

Meals/Lodging/Travel

Meals include: Saturday – Breakfast, Dinner
Sunday – Breakfast, Lunch
– Please eat dinner before we leave on Friday or bring a bag dinner for the drive
– Please bring $20 for lunch at the mountain on Saturday
Lift Ticket (for Ski/Snowboard)

Tubing (if not skiing or snowboarding)

Rentals (if you are not bringing your own)
Skis/Poles/Boots or Snowboard/Boots – $40
Helmet – $15 (everyone must wear a helmet)
Group Lesson (mandatory, if beginner)
1 1/2 hours – $35
TOTAL for youth (without rental equipment or lesson): $175
(with all rental equipment, but without lesson): $230
(with all rental equipment and lesson): $265
*if over 18, add $20 for lift ticket
Scholarship funds are available – please contact Lauren privately if the cost is not feasible for your family at this time, we want everyone to be able to come!

Payment
Bring your full payment to Fairfield Grace by Sunday, January 24th in any of the following ways:
– bring to Anne Regan at the church office (Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 1 PM)
– bring to Lauren at our Youth Group meeting on or before Sunday, January 24th
– send to Fairfield Grace via mail (Lauren Regan, Fairfield Grace UMC, 1089 Fairfield Woods Rd, 06825) before Sunday, January 24th
*Please address all checks to “Fairfield Grace UMC” (with “Youth Group Ski Trip 2016”) on the subject line).
Youth-Led Service Participation Commitment
As is consistent with our past retreats, our youth group will be leading the Fairfield Grace service the weekend after our retreat on Sunday, February 28th at 10 AM to share the details of the ski trip with our congregation. All ski trip participants are expected to participate in this service (and arrive at 9 AM). If you have a prior scheduled commitment, it is your responsibility to let Lauren know you cannot attend BEFORE the ski trip.
