Operation Hope was formed in 1986 when local residents became aware of individuals in the community who were unable to meet the basic needs of food and shelter. Clergy and lay leaders worked together to provide food and emergency shelter. The foundation of Operation Hope as a community organization was fueled by the energy of concerned citizens, and is now an officially recognized 501c3 organization.

Fairfield Grace supports Operation Hope every other month by cooking a meal for its 50+ residents. The food is prepared at the church and delivered to Operation Hope. Please contact the church office for more information or to volunteer.
